What is Hydro Jetting?
Hydro Jetting is a process in which your storm drain pipes are scoured by 360 degree streams of high-pressure water shooting backwards from a hose at 4,000 psi, strong enough to pull out debris in your storm drain lines.

How does Hydro Jetting work?
Hydro Jetting is typically done through an opening of a catch basin or drop inlet. A Hydro Jetter consists of a large tank of water, a special high-pressure hose, a special high-strength nozzle, and a machine which pressurizes the water in the hose, so that it can spray out of the nozzle at a pressurized rate of up to 4,000 psi.  The Hydro Jetting nozzle is placed at the "downstream" end of the storm drain in the street then working its way "upstream" against gravity towards the first catch basin on site. That way, debris is pulled into the catch basin and then vacuumed pumped out and disposed off site.  Then the next catch basin up stream is does the same way, until all the storm drain lines and catch basins are cleaned.  We have different jetter heads to choose from depending on job.  For example, we have a Nozzle that is called a super root rat nozzle, and is designed to cut grease, roots, sand, silt and debris from 4 inch to 6 inch sewers. Powerful rear jets provide sufficient pulling power to pull 500 feet of hose and also clean the pipe wall. Rotation also means streak-free cleaning. A single front jet cuts into the blockage so the Super Root Rat can get into the blockage for effective removal.
