Simon was dispatched to unclog a slow main drain. The line was so bad that when the washing machine would cycle to drain water would back up into the kitchen sink. I would also see water on the garage floor. I thought that water was over flowing from the washing machine drain. Simon found that it was not the drain leaking on the garage floor but my water heater was leaking from the bottom of the tank. He replaced the tank that same day. If he had just done what he was sent out to do my water heater could have burst its bottom during the night, leaving me with a big wet mess. Simon did snake/power scrub my line and water throughout the house now flows faster than before. If you need work done, Done-Right.. will do you right! ( Bert give my thanks to Simon!)

Having issues with my new water heater made by AO Smith. Called Done Right Rooter and Plumbing and John came out and got the heater up and running. Seems there is a design flaw in the new water heaters, he was able to quickly fix it and I waited several weeks before posting this review.... It is running like a charm!

The service was free because it was under warranty and John was very helpful, he gave me great suggestions on extending the life of the water heater. Apparently all the water heaters are having issues with the new emissions rules in Cali.

If you are having problems call Done Right they represent the manufacturer and do an amazing job!

The plumber who installed my water heater had no clue how to get it up and running. Done right is the company I'm going to call for all my future plumber issues! Reading the other reviews.... I had an excellent experience with Bert over the phone, was able to schedule the appointment when I could get off work. I didn't have to wait all day for them to come out!

My toilet was backing up into my bathtub which was not only gross but I thought weird? Called a couple of plumbers and the people answering the phone could not answer my questions.

Called Done Right Rooter and Plumbing and got my answers! Yes, just what I needed Bert answered the phone and patiently explained my problem with my sewer pipes. He sent out Simon who cabled the bathtub for a very reasonable price and cleaned up the mess.

Really? I was not expecting that kind of service. They really care about their customers from beginning to end. Bert even called me to tell me when Simon was on the way to my house.

Our house was built in 1962 and had cast iron sewer pipes. Over the years, as clogs built up at the joints, our tub and clothes washer would back up. Recently, as the problem became more frequent, I realized that the combination of my drum cleaning machine and blasting out my sewer pipes with water was not going to keep up with the problem any longer.

I was impressed with the web site that Done-Right has, and decided to give them a call. I first spoke with Bert, and he explained what the probable causes could be, and he also informed me those repairs can get costly, depending on how serious they are. He gave me a "ballpark" estimate of what those repairs can cost, and asked me if those figures were in my range. I told him they were, and we scheduled a home inspection for the following day.

The next day, Oscar phoned and asked if he could come to my house earlier than the scheduled time. I said yes, and he was here about 20 minutes later. After I explained to him the problems we've been having and what I personally thought was causing the problem, he agreed and went under our house to inspect our old sewer pipes. He gave me a written estimate to replace all of the cast iron pipes with ABS, and I was happy with his professional explanation of how the job would be done.

The following day, Oscar and Glenn started the job. Our house doesn't have as much working room underneath it as some newer homes have. This kind of work requires two people, and is a tough job. With two days of limited working room and hard work, they completely dug out the buried pipes, removed the visible pipes, and replaced them all with new ABS sewer pipe.

During this work, they kept our downtime to an absolute minimum, and it was very easy to live with during this period. They put plastic over our carpets, and went out of their way to keep things clean.

What more could one ask for?

My water heater broke down yesterday. Since the heater was still under warranty (6 year warranty expiring in March 2011) I called the heater manufacturer and they gave me the number for Done-Right.

John arrived at the scheduled time and diagnosed the problem right away, it was a bad thermocoupler that needed to be replaced. It took him around 30 minutes to replace the part and he also cleaned out the flame arrestor area at the base of the heater.

John could answer any question I had for him with detailed answers, very impressive! He increased my limited understanding of how these heaters work, thanks John.

I would definitely recommend Done-Right for water heater repairs and would call them again if I have any more problems in the future or want to install a new heater in the future.

I first called in to describe the problem and get a diagnosis over the phone. The guy over the phone immediately identified it as a problem with clogging in the drainage pipe. Some other plumber companies I called had a receptionist pick up and they wouldn't know any technical details which is very annoy and slow. This guy over the phone for Done Right Rooter and Plumbing was very knowledgeable and very straight forward with the charges.

Kevin was the plumber that came to our house to fix the problem. He was right on time, was very professional and easy to work with. He was able to explain the problem and give details. I've met other plumbers and handy-men in the past who cannot explain the problem and would charge you an arm and a leg for some ambiguous problem that you don't understand. Kevin was totally the opposite. He'd think of all the ways to help you save money and can answer all your questions while being straightforward and informative. He was able to get the job done well under an hour and even helped us diagnose a few other minor problems with our faucets. He also called the next week to check up on us just to make sure the drainage problem did not reoccur. What great service!!

Overall, I'm very satisfied with Kevin and Done Right Plumbing. If they maintain such high quality standard of service for years to come, I'd definitely hire them back and recommend them to anyone with any plumbing needs!!

We had an old kitchen sink faucet that unexpectedly started leaking. Since I had actually just purchased a new kitchen sink faucet, I wanted to have the leak investigated at the same time as I had the faucet installed, just to be sure there weren't any bigger-issue problems going on. The first plumber I called flat-out rejected me and said they 'don't install customer-supplied parts.' Eh? I called Done Right and Ernie came out the next morning. They quoted me a flat rate for the job, which I ended up really appreciating because the whole thing took over 4 hours - not the fault of the plumber. It turns out the sink faucet was so rusted that Ernie literally had to saw it off from the top to be able to loosen it up and remove. (Have never seen a metal saw in action, it was crazy.) The actual installation of the new faucet went very quickly. The job was messy but Ernie was very meticulous at clean-up, which I also appreciated. Turns out there was still a little leak the next morning - Ernie came out right away and tightened everything up, no charge, and we haven't had a problem since. I'd definitely call these guys again.

In this day and age when you need a plumber, you feel like you have to bend over and grab your ankles, because you know you're going to get screwed. That was then.

Kevin from Done Right Rooter and Plumbing has since changed my opinion about this business. Whether it's for our restaurant or the house, Done Right is who we call. Kevin is the only person we have dealt with here, but he represents the company well.

Our latest issue was a toilet that needed replacing. Kevin though that the unit needed to be replaced, but suggested to repair the leaking tank in order to save us money. He told us that if the repair didn't take, he would apply that labor cost to putting in a new toilet. The crack in the tank was too fine for the repair to be successful. True to his word, Kevin came back the next day and replaced the toilet and charged us only for the commode.

It's extremely difficult to find an honest mechanic, HVAC repair, electrician, etc. That's why It is great to have a company like Done Right Rooter and Plumbing in our corner. Kevin has done many jobs for us, and we will continue to request him.

I had a plumbing emergency when my hot water heater (in my attic) went bad and was leaking into my ceiling. Done Right had their team over within an hour of my call and successfully removed the old one (no small task given it was in the attic!) and replaced it with a brand new one. My system was not an ordinary hot water heater, it was an Apollo HydroHeat system which apparently scares other plumbers away. Not Done Right!. They were professional, on time, well prepared and did a fantastic job. I unfortunately have had my fair share of plumbing issues and these guys are by far the most knowledgeable and professional plumbers I have ever dealt with. I won't use anyone else ever again!

Unfortunately I had a plumbing issue. The fortunate thing was I called this place. I had called a few places, but I did not like the Vibe I got on the phone. I am fairly suspicious of service places because some are very shadey. When I called here I spoke with Michelle and she oozed Honesty.

I was told how much the service would be based on my description of the problem. The Plumber-Tech John was on Time. He also described in detail my problem after he tried the conventional methods which was not clearing my drain. He scheduled for the next day the fix. and again arrived on time and boom problem gone.

I was very impressed and happy with the work and the price was very fair. I had called a few other places and was shocked at how much they wanted just to come out.. If you want an Honest Business and you have a plumbing problems call this place. No-one likes plumbing problems and no -one likes to be taken advantage of. Honesty goes pretty far and this company is very honest.

John from Done-Right Rooter and Plumbing was very helpful and thorough in his diagnosis of our water heater problem. He gave me a quote and when I told him I wanted to shop around for a better price, told me he would write up the quote with the stated quote to protect our price and yet give us three days to decide if we would go with his company. He told me I had until 3:30p.m. that day (Friday) and if I went past the time a $200.00 charge would be added for the distributor to open up past 3:30p.m. when they close. Unfortunately, spending time calling around did not yield a lower price and I should have just gone with Done Right because by the time I called back it was past 3:30p.m. and Done Right could not

get the distributor to open up without incurring the additional $200.00. Their service was efficient and helpful in finding out why I needed to replace my commercial water heater. Though the finished price came to more than was original quote due to taxes and the $15.00 surcharge, they honored their quote and did not argue over the stated quote. I appreciate their integrity and professionalism in handling a customer dispute. I would recommend them highly for service and would use them again in the future.

We had tried unsuccesfully to have a problem at our establishment fixed. There was a horrific smell throughout our place and our customers were complaining. We called DoneRight and Larry and Bernade showed up. The were knowledgeable, respectful, and they went to work right away! Bernade suggested that the problem could be one of two things--something in the venting or a broken pipe. Sure enough, there was something wrong with the venting and they removed the pipes in search of the smell. They found a lot of debris inside the pipes and they cleaned itup. They first worked in the women's area to eliminate the smell and they continued to clean all the venting in the whole building. The smell has since subsided and our customers are no longer complaining.

If you want a company that will do it right call DONE RIGHT! Their workers are skillfull and trained and get it right on the first try.

We had a recurring issue with our toilet and bathtub backing up -- and after years of this happening intermittently, we finally called in Bert and his crew. Bert stayed with it and over the past few weeks, we finally discovered that a root had crushed the line to our septic. Bert and his crew dug it up and replaced it -- so I think we finally have some peace of mind. Moreover, Bert's been up to the house himself at least 10 times over these weeks. His level of service and perseverance is astounding.

We are very impressed with this company; they truly care about customer's satisfaction. Last month, we had a plumber work on our shower faucet, and although he did his job, we didn't feel that he did enough (BTW, he's no longer with the company). So Bert came and fixed the problem, and gave us a full refund. On a Saturday, 4th of July weekend, no less! And it wasn't even an emergency. We insisted that he take some money for his time and effort (at least to pay for gas these days!), but he refused and told us that customer's satisfaction is his priority. We would definitely use this service again without hesitation.

Done-Right Rooter just re-plumbed my house in copper, and I am very pleased with the job they did as well as the customer service. Bert and his crew care about getting the job done right--just as the name implies. I called on Monday morning with an emergency leak and Bert was out within an hour. He offered me several solutions with the pros and cons of each. When I decided to replumb, he immediately gave me a reasonable estimate and had the job completed in 3 days. Everything was done with permits and with as little disruption as possible. The crew was competent, hardworking, and diligent. I called Done Right Rooter and Plumber due to the excellent reviews they received on YellowPages.com. Eugenio was on time (in fact early) and came on a Saturday morning.

He was knowledgeable and was able to identify the source of the leak and fix it. He gave me the pricing before he began. He also pointed out some non critical plumbing work I should think about having fixed. He did not try to get me to have the work done immediately. I highly recommend Done Right Rooter and Plumbers. I intend to use them again :)

I was fairly skeptical about these exceptional reviews on Done-Right since I've had series of bad experiences with other plumbers (especially terrible Cupertino Plumbing; I don't even know why they are still in business). After trying to clean a clog out myself I called them sight unseen and was pleasantly suprised. Over the phone, the gentleman treated me like a client and not a nuisance. After changing things so that someone could be out this day, he actually told me that it would be within 35 minutes. Usually when you hear that you expect 4 hours, but "Larry" showed up within 30 minutes. He was extraordinarily pleasant, explained things clearly, and again treated me like a person not a "job". Having had clogs before, companies come out, put a snake through once and call it a day, but Larry spent another 15 minutes cleaning the pipe to mitigate reoccurrence.

My boyfriend and I just recently moved into the area. I called many Plumbers in the phone book and Done Right was the only one that was prompt in responding to my request. In the same day I requested service, a service man arrived. He wore booties in the house to keep any dirt from his boots all over my floor. I loved that! The next day, I noticed there was still a leak in the bathroom. The owner came over to look for himself. He discovered that the faucet was the problem, not the service, and replaced an even better faucet for us for FREE! I would highly recommend Done Right Rooter and Plumbing.
